Fire Doors Add to Urmson Fire FIRAS Accreditation
Urmson Fire Specialists Ltd has extended its list of industry accreditations by becoming FIRAS certified for its fire-stopping and fire door installation services.
As a leading company within the fire protection service industry, Urmson Fire Specialists have been working hard to add Fire Doors to their 3rd party accreditation through the FIRAS scheme, which is operated and managed by Warringtonfire.
FIRAS certification is a UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accredited certification scheme that promotes good practice for the installation and maintenance of passive fire protection products. Since it was established in 1994, the FIRAS scheme has become the leading certification body for this sector and covers fire door installation, maintenance, and surveying, all of which Urmson Fire Specialists offer.
