DUCTWORK PRESSURE TESTING
Air tightness or pressure testing is a skilled method of determining uncontrolled airflow. Leaking ducts can significantly increase energy bills, dramatically reduce system capacity and performance, as well as result in potentially dangerous indoor air quality problems.
A ductwork pressure test procedure consists of a calibrated fan for measuring an air flow rate and a pressure sensing device to measure the pressure created by the fan flow. The combination of pressure and fan flow measurements are used to determine the ductwork airtightness
Our pressure testing service includes:
- Reports will identify sections of ductwork
- Record the surface area of the ductwork tested
Reports will identify pressure classification
Record the static pressure
Record the leakage factor and rates
State the maximum leakage permitted
Record the duration of the test
Reports will identify any defects found and provide recommendations
Test certificate produced
Our collaborative and proactive approach drives efficiency, cost savings and offers our clients peace of mind. We are committed to continuous improvement, through innovation and investment in our personnel, methodologies and equipment.
We offer extremely competitive rates and daytime, evenings or weekends to offer minimal disturbance to our customers.
