HEPA filters are designed to filter airborne fine particulate (dust), pollen and aerosols from the air, HEPA filters are used on supply air systems to maintain air cleanliness of critical areas and on extract systems to remove harmful substances from the air.

If a filter is not working efficiently, you run the risk of contamination entering your operating theatre, cleanroom, aseptic unit etc, potentially impacting on processes and product quality and, in turn, affecting design classifications.

Equipment containing a HEPA filter should be tested every time the equipment is moved to ensure no damage due to transportation has occurred and at regular, usually annual intervals. Our engineers are fully trained in the testing of HEPA filters to the equipment’s relevant guidelines. All instruments used in testing are UKAS calibrated to national standards and copies of certification are supplied with reports.

HEPA filter integrity testing (DOP) includes:
