What Is Chemical Dosing Treatment?
Chemical dosing treatment is the treatment of closed water systems (CWS) found in many commercial and multi residential properties. These systems provide the heating and cooling through the passage of hot or cold water to terminal units, radiators, FCU’s, radiant panels etc, located around buildings.
Without chemical dosing treatment and maintenance, the water system will be put at risk from soluble contaminants, dirt, debris, corrosion, scale and biological fouling. Our treatment of scale and corrosion inhibitors, biocides, glycol and various other chemicals to help with the running and protection of the water systems.

Our operatives are not only fully trained in chemical dosing treatment and maintenance, but also in ensuring the safety of everyone whilst cleaning is carried out. All engineers carry the CSCS passport to safety and are all enhanced DBS checked to ensure confidence when working on site and in areas with vulnerable people

Chemical Dosing Treatment FAQ’s
What is chemical dosing treatment?
Chemical dosing treatment involves adding specialist chemicals to closed water systems to control corrosion, scale and biological fouling.
Which systems require chemical dosing?
Closed heating and cooling systems serving radiators, FCUs, radiant panels and other terminal units require chemical dosing.
What chemicals are used in dosing treatments?
Treatments may include corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, biocides, glycol and other specialist chemicals depending on system requirements.
Why is system volume estimation important?
Accurate system volume estimation ensures chemicals are dosed correctly to provide effective protection without overdosing.
Is laboratory testing included?
Yes. Water samples are collected and sent to a UKAS-accredited laboratory to confirm water quality and treatment effectiveness.
