Air tightness or pressure testing is a skilled method of determining uncontrolled airflow. Leaking ducts can significantly increase energy bills, dramatically reduce system capacity and performance, as well as result in potentially dangerous indoor air quality problems.
A ductwork pressure test procedure consists of a calibrated fan for measuring an air flow rate and a pressure sensing device to measure the pressure created by the fan flow. The combination of pressure and fan flow measurements are used to determine the ductwork airtightness

Our ductwork pressure tests are carried out to BESA DW/143 regulations. All instruments used in testing are calibrated to national standards and copies of certification are supplied with reports. Our engineers are fully trained in ductwork pressure testing in the NHS, private healthcare, operating theatres, education, pharmaceuticals, retail, manufacturing, commercial and residential building sectors
