Fume cupboard testing and LEV testing are essential when it comes to protecting your personnel from hazardous or noxious vapours, gases and dust produced. LEVs or dust/fume extraction carry away airborne contaminants before they can be breathed in.

Every employer who provides LEVs must ensure “It is maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order, in good repair and in a clean condition” – Regulation 9-1 COSHH. The maximum time between tests of LEV systems is set down in COSHH and for most systems it is 14 months.
