Seasonal commissioning involves checking heating systems in winter and mechanical cooling systems in summer against commissioning data. Checks and monitoring can aid systems to work to optimum design performance and efficiency levels. Ideally, the original project team should remain engaged to perform the seasonal commissioning.
In the building industry all work covered under Part L of the Building Regulations should be commissioned and documented in accordance to the design specification. All commissioning works are carried out to the current and relevant British standards while following CIBSE / BSRIA guidelines.
Our seasonal commissioning service includes checks on:
Installed equipment matches the design criteria
HVAC equipment installed safely and efficiently
Equipment is tested and adjusted, balanced and fine-tuned to achieve design performance whilst optimising flow rates and temperature
Automatic controls are working correctly and as designed
Any design issues highlighted
Fully documented report issued
